Why create a scrapbook?
A scrapbook is a stunning, colorful way to showcase your photos and tell the story of the event behind them. There isn't a better way to archive your memories for the generations of your family to come! A picture is worth a thousand words, but a scrapbook tells a life's story!

What does "archival" mean?
The acid in regular paper can eat into photos over time, causing yellowing and fading. Archival paper is also know as "acid-free" because the acid is removed at the pulp stage, leaving the paper with a neutral pH balance. In addition, archival paper is also lignin-free and has good color retention. The archival paper and inks used to create our projects are acid and lignin free products to make your memories last a lifetime.

Do you alter my original photos?
Yes, if you give permission in our contract we will alter the photos to your design specifications. However, with that said, we only do this if permission is authorized. If you decide not to have your photos altered then we will honor your wishes and design a layout to work with your photos.

Where do I send my items?
Carefully pack your items in a padded envelope or box and send via your choice to the following address:

Please note that we can not be held responsible for lost or damaged items as it is out of our control. Our suggestion is that you insure your package for a reasonable amount. We know that photographs are priceless however this can be adverted by simply sending copies of the original photographs etc.

How soon will my project be done?
Each project is different depending on what the desired design is and/or the quantity to complete. You will get a rough estimate of an completion during our consultation. Simple projects can possibly take one day, however more complicated ones may take up to a week to complete and more for a complete album.

How does it work?
Our first consultation is where you would simply bring or send your photographs, memorabilia and journaling for us to discuss what you would like done with your special memories. This consultation is free of charge and our pricing will be discussed as well as a copy of our policies will be given before we begin your layout(s) or artwork. We will then discuss what direction we will go in the next steps to complete your project. Once a decision is made, that is when you set back and relax and we get to work.

Why is it so expensive?
I know my services may seem expensive, but let me reassure you that you are paying for professional quality and design. Cost per page can typically be anywhere from $8- $15 per page plus my time depending on the design. However they can also be considerably less depending on the paper used or embellishments. We will discuss a price that you feel comfortable with during your consultation and work from there. We promise that when you receive your project, you will see that they are worth every penny!

How do I pay?
Heartprint Designs accepts cash, personal checks, money orders, and Paypal (major credit and debits may be used as well through Paypal). Full payment is due in advance. There maybe a time where additional fees may occur, however these will need approval from you prior to completing.
